Little Light Venue

Less than 5 minutes from Universal Studios and Hollywood, Little Light Venue is in the heart of Los Angeles.

Our main ballroom is a 2,500 square foot open space, our maximum capacity is 140 guests.

It wouldn’t be LA if our venue wasn’t in a strip mall! Please note before booking a tour that we are in a historic site and our venue is on the second floor, there is no elevator in the building.

We are conveniently located across the street from the Lankershim Blvd 101 Freeway exit.

What’s so Special about Little Light?

Little Light Venue got its name from the details. Our venue is fully equipped with an audio/ visual system and plenty of little lights to set the mood for any occasion. With a stage and an open ballroom, your next event is sure to impress!

  • Previously known as Mama Juanas, Little Light Venue found a home in the “it girl” salsa dancing joint of the early 2000s. Our walls have seen the likes of world renowned Latin dancers and bands. In the golden age of Latin lounges, Mama Juanas stood out, drawing crowds of 200+ people. It was tiny, but mighty. Little Light Venue hopes to uphold the spirit Mama Juanas embodied, one of beauty, joy, and endless possibilities.

  • Included in your booking is use of our handcrafted bar and our Something Blue Room, our house’s Green Room. Our favorite part of the venue is our bathrooms, we have two onsite. We have a complete sound system, equipped to handle a full live band. Additionally, there is a commercial kitchen available for vendor use.

  • We offer valet service, with rates starting at $450. We don’t have our own designated parking lot, but there is plenty of street parking in the neighborhood and a paid parking structure nearby. We are conveniently located less than half a mile from the Universal City/ Studio City Metro Station.
